UGANET (UGA Network of IT Professionals) is a grassroots organization of network administrators, technical professionals, and interested individuals at the University of Georgia. UGANET meets once a month to provide a forum for the discussion technical and networking issues. While not directly a branch of the University administration, UGANET is recognized as the official voice for computer and network professionals on campus.
UGANET meets at 1:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month online or in a location announced to the mailing list.
The Chair for UGANET is currently Simon Starling. The officers of UGANET are elected by the membership at September meetings in odd number years.
